Here is a collection of 3D modeling and sculpting projects of mine. Presently I am using Blender and FreeCAD.
Darth Maul’s Lightsaber from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

I’ve been doing a lot of work in Blender recently creating my original Lightsaber designs posted here previously. Then I had a sudden impulse to attempt to recreate the iconic Lightsabers from the movies. I present to you Darth Maul’s Lightsaber staff from Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. I was so pleased with the result that I am going to do as many of the Lightsabers from the movies as I can. See keep an eye out for more.
Completed in Blender 5.1.0. Special thanks to Polyhaven.com and F40 at Gumroad.com for the HDRI background images.
Jedi Master Kestae-Lon’s Original Lightsaber Design 3D Model

I’m pleased to present another original Lightsaber design completed in Blender 5.0.1. This saber design came from the concept art for Master Sy’Tara Vossic’s Jedi mentor, Kestae-Lon. In our Star Wars home game, Kestae-Lon was an Arkanian Jedi Master who walked the path of an Outer Rim wanderer. She was convinced that the place of a Jedi was out in the galaxy not shut away in a temple. As such, she followed the Will of the Force wherever it led her, often to cross the paths of those who needed her help the most.
Being an Arkanian, Kestae-Lon had only three fingers and a thumb on each hand, making her grip thinner than most. As such, her combat style focused more upon elegant, flowing movements over brute force. This led to a slightly shorter hilt design than the standard. Her saber presents a straightforward elegance in its form, much like its wielder.

So, Blender has recently re-captivated my attention and I’ve been working on a number of projects as a result. One of which has been to go back and create 3D models of my previous original Lightsaber designs in Blender. This saber goes all the way back before the start of our long standing home game.
Be on the look out for more of these kinds of post in the near future. There have been a few Lightsaber concepts I’ve drawn that are now being fully realized in 3D thanks to Blender. Completed in Blender 5.0.1.

TARDIS

I am a huge fan of Doctor Who and had to make the beloved big blue box, the TARDIS, in Blender! I have always wanted to have a pocket dimension of my own to slip away to, maybe one day… In the mean time, I’m happy to settle for this made from scratch blue box of my very own. Video render of the completed TARDIS coming soon to my Patreon Page!
Jedi Master Sy’Tara Vossic’s Lightsaber
Recently, I’ve started dabbling with Blender, the free 3D modeling and sculpting software. Having gone through a lengthy self-guided crash course, instructed by innumerable YouTube videos, and attempting extremely ambitious projects for a complete novice; my efforts have really paid off. I present to you the 3D realization of the Lightsaber design for my Star Wars RPG character, Jedi Master Sy’Tara Vossic.
This original design was based upon a concept image shown below next to a comparative image of the final 3D realization.
