Featuring Episode III era Obi-Wan Kenobi and my original SW-TTRPG character Sy’Tara Vossic in a tender, loving embrace. Based upon events from our Star Wars RPG home game. Tale for a Starry Night Trailer

Here, at long last, is the trailer for “Tale for a Starry Night”, an original play written and scored by my good friend Greg Thomas. He asked me to collaborate with him to bring his vision to life through this semi-animated trailer some time ago. I’m pleased to finally share our results with you here. The artwork and video editing were my contributions, the music, vocals, and audio story were developed by Greg Thomas.
What is Tale for a Starry NIght? Here is an excerpt from the TFSN website;
“Tale for a Starry Night is a heartfelt story about family, acceptance, and redemption. When Nisa’s mother dies, she must leave her village in ancient Colchis to find the father she never knew. With the help of Petru, a young man she meets along the way, she makes her way to his door, and, though initially welcomed into his home, Clarissa, his proud new wife, schemes to have her banished. Alone again, she finds her courage, a new home, and love. Years pass in happiness, until her beloved Petru falls ill and her father reappears, a broken man with menace in his heart. With the people of her village at her side, she must find the strength to face not only her father’s threat but the powers of the underworld too save them all.“

Vader Hallway Scene Homage

An homage to the Darth Vader hallway scene from Rogue One. Pixel lightsaber shot on Moto G stylus 5G, audio editing in Wavepad, audio mixing and video editing done in Shotcut.
This one took some time as there are layers upon layers of sound bytes and effects. Audio story was composed from a mix of free sound effects libraries online and personally conducted audio recordings. Visual blaster effects were hand designed in Autodesk Sketchbook and individually animated in Shotcut.
